I found out today that apart from his daily cartoons, another passion with R.K.Laxman is to observe and sketch crows - because they are immensely intelligent birds and are unfairly dismissed by fretting preople as a nuisance.
Hmmm....I guess I could accept them as my forefathers now ;)

ReplyDeleteI am really inspired/enthused by people when I find someone famous, known, beautiful, or someone I like doing something that I have not considered or given adequate thought to.
For example, I never took any interest in Parle G or Tiger biscuits for a long time (because they were so commonplace and cheap)!
But this changed after I saw two beautiful girls near Godavari Hostel of my university many years ago buying and eating (read devouring)the said biscuits! I used to think that beautiful, rich girls must be interested only in expensive biscuits like Goodday etc.!
My prejudiced thinking! Kinda weird but funny!
